Claudia Schwartzkopff studied chemistry at the Technical University of Darmstadt and specialized in the fields of chemical engineering and physical chemistry. In 2013 she graduated as Master of Science. Afterwards she joined the Ernst-Berl-Institute as research assistant where she could gain some experience in the field of high pressure polymerization.

Ms. Schwartzkopff has been working in the IP sector since 2015. She is admitted to practice as German and European Patent Attorney and UPC representative. In 2022, she obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in European Intellectual Property Law.

She has experience in grant, opposition and appeal procedures in front of the German Patent and Trademark Office and the European Patent Office as well as in invalidity and infringment procedures.
