Dr. rer. nat. Veronika Müller studied pharmacy at the Universities of Erlangen-Nürnberg and London. She did her doctorate under the supervision of the Nobel laureate Prof. Dr. Erwin Neher at the Department of Membrane Biophysics at the Max-Planck-Institute for Biophysical Chemistry.

Dr. Müller started in the IP field as a trainee in 2005 and worked for several years as a German and European Patent Attorney in private practice in Munich representing Originators as well as Generic pharmaceutical companies in all IP matters. Afterwards she worked in-house for an Originator and was responsible for in-licensing opportunities and contract negotiations in relation to such transactions before she returned to Ter Meer Steinmeister & Partner mbB in 2024.

German Patent Attorney and European Trademark Attorney since 2008, European Patent Attorney since 2009, UPC representative since 2023.

Experience in patent litigation cases, prosecution of patents and utility models, opposition and nullity proceedings, utility model cancellation proceedings, validity and freedom-to-operate and licensing of IP rights.
