Ferdinand Haubs

Mr Haubs completed his Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in Bioinformatics in 2025 at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and the Technical University of Munich. His studies focused on protein structure prediction, molecular dynamics, and machine learning, supported by a broad interdisciplinary background in biology, chemistry, mathematics, statistics, and computer science. He also gained engineering-related experience during a semester abroad at KU Leuven (Belgium). His master’s thesis at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry explored the use of machine learning methods for disease risk prediction.

During his academic training, he also gained insights into pharmaceutical research through work at leading pharmaceutical companies.

Mr Haubs joined the team at Ter Meer Steinmeister & Partner in 2025 and supports us with drafting new patent applications, prosecutions, oppositions, and nullity proceedings - especially in the field of computer-implemented inventions.
